Canceling an order: Once an order has been shipped and is out of our facility we can not cancel the order. You may return a gift at your expense and receive an 80% refund. We do not issue full credit because once food items leave the facility they have to be destroyed when they are returned, we never reuse perishable items.
Change of Address Requests: Please email order changes to sales@agiftbasketgift.com or call us toll free at 866-323-8601. We guarantee to make the changes emailed in before 2pm CST the date the package is scheduled to ship. In the event your gift has shipped we can make a request to change the address but UPS does not guarantee address changes. Once a package is in transit and we request a change to the delivery address, UPS charges a fee of $10. We reserve the right to charge that fee to the purchaser of the gift. (below is a link to UPS and an excerpt of their policy).
Address Correction: "If the correct or complete address is secured, UPS, at its sole discretion, will attempt delivery, the shipper will be provided with the correct or complete address, and an additional charge will be assessed."
Incomplete address fees apply to missing information such as street number, suite number, or apartment and may result in a $10.00 charge. If for some reason you have provided incomplete or incorrect information we will need to contact UPS and attempt to correct the error.
Delayed delivery and address error fee's can be avoided, check the information in your emailed receipt for the following:
• Recipients full first and last name. • Company name. (if applicable) • Street number and street name. • Suite number, apartment number or floor number. • City, state and accurate zip code.
Gift card message: check your receipt for a gift card message!!! If it does not appear on your emailed order summary it will not appear on your order form!
Returns & Refunds: We stand behind our product, if you are not completely satisfied with your gift you may return it and receive a 100% credit. If you feel we have made an error on one of our gifts we will gladly retrieve the item in question and issue a refund or retrieve the error and reship your gift. In order to receive a full credit we must be able to retrieve the item in question. If UPS delivers your package late we will make attempts to reimburse the shipping provided the late package was a human error made by UPS and is not due to weather delays, incorrect address information and is not on a holiday shipping delay.
Shipping Guide: All next day air, 2nd day and 3 day air gift basket orders placed before 2pm CST will ship same day as a general rule, we do reserve the right to take up to 24 hours to ship ground packages. If there are any delays beyond 24 hours of shipping ground packages it will be posted at the top of the home page. Basket orders placed after 2pm CST ship the next business day. Gift baskets placed on Friday after 2pm will not ship until the following Monday. Gift baskets are shipped via ups or fed ex which do not generally deliver on Saturday or Sunday without additional fees. If you have any questions please call. Order date does not count as a transit day. If you have any questions please call for prompt arrival times on holiday gift baskets.
Substitutions: During the hot summer months all fruit and chocolate must be shipped accordingly for arrival within 2 days for fruit and next day for chocolate. In some areas this may mean we have to upgrade shipping to two day or overnight delivery to ensure fresh delivery of fruit and chocolate items. Although it is a bit more costly it is the only way to ensure your gifts arrive fresh and in the best possible condition. At times it may be necessary for us to substitute an item or items in our baskets, in the summer this includes chocolate. This is due to the uniqueness of each gift and vendor supplies. We will never substitute products unequally. Please note that not all gifts arrive identical to the picture(baskets may very).
Track Your Package: Provided you have submitted an accurate e-mail address, once your item has shipped you will receive a tracking number for your gift so you can see when it is delivered.
